2ND ANNUAL ALTRUSA LAPS FOR LITERACY
5K FUN RUN/WALK
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2013
REID PARK BANDSHELL IN TUCSON, AZ
Let's put books into the hands of children who have none! Donations support MAKE WAY FOR BOOKS and the Pima County Public Library, as well as other worthy Altrusa literacy projects.

Why support early literacy? The most critical learning years are birth through age 5 when 90% of the brain is developing. Quality early literacy experiences pay off for years to come. Young children who have books at home and adults in their lives who read to them regularly are far more likely to be prepared for kindergarten, graduate from high school, and succeed in life.
Prizes will be awarded to the individual and team that raise the most money, as well as to the first person across the finish line! All registered adult participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt! We hope you will wear it proudly.
A special thank you to our sponsors! We couldn't do without you!
